Though the holidays are really over and it really is getting to be seriously cold outside, this Monday wasn’t too bad for me because the temperature has dropped so low that school is closing for Tuesday (I know it’s crazy but Atlanta can’t handle sub 20 degree weather)! I hope everyone’s Monday was a great start to their weeks! Today I’d like to share Mike Diamond’s Brooklyn townhouse, a family home with a slick contemporary vibe.

I especially love this solid marble kitchen island, which is a nice contrast to the warm tones cabinets (which are still smooth and modern in their design). Also the copper hanging shelves are a snazzy way to provide storage space to their kitchen.
I can’t resist a claw-foot tub, and the bubble-bulb light fixture fits nicely in the room hanging below the exposed beams!
